Can you just put in up a Black Screen On Relax Alax On Borderline Forever For Somedays Please Scott?
GBC was the neglected middle child of the gameboy family
I've fond memories of the GBC. Never owned one though. Emulated it like the member of the PC Master race I was. Speaking of which. In the year 2000 when Pokemon Gold (first Pokemon game in colour) came out the online scene had already made a translated rom of the Japanese version before the English version was even released. My girlfriend at the time had a 10 year old brother and I put the Emulator and Rom on his PC for him to play. So, a 10 year old kid had a working playable version of the most anticipated game in the biggest fad on the 90's months before it was to be released… He became insanely popular at school and kids would come around to his house just to see him play it. True PC Master Race stuff.
If you put Metroid II in a gbc it will play in full color! I'm pretty sure it's voodoo.
Quite literally "Advanced".
Why do I watch these instead of sleeping
1:23 "Did you really want to get caught playing Sonic Triple Trouble?"
proceeds to show Sonic 1 8-Bit in the background
if he talked about the d pad it’d be his most popular video
Thankfully someone else whose only played Wario 1 and 4. 4 just seems like the perfection of 2 and 3 so I have a hard time going back.
When I was a kid I spent hours playing game boy plugged in via the AC adapter. And by 98 the og game boy was still fine (most people had the pocket model). No way were you old enough to know that. At the time, most people who owned a game boy didnt bother with the colour.
The game boy colour kinda reminds me of the Switch OLED. Its a better screen and thats it. It came along around the time that mobile phones went colour and those going colour didnt really change them either.
Wario land 2 color does not work on the original Gameboy.
Aside from Oracle of Ages & Seasons, I was in no rush to upgrade from Pocket to Advance. The Colour was just what I already had, but in color. Okay I half lie, it was pretty downing to see my classmates play the Oracle games and Pokémon Crystal while I had to settle with Link's Awakening and Silver, but that said I loved my Pocket and then some until I first laid eyes on the Advance. I can't recall a system since that has made me fall in love faster purely by its design. Sure, it had great games, but it also stuck out by being oval and having the screen centered, plus that unforgetable legendary bootup screen. My grandma called my mom that christmas to ask if I wanted a pet bird like my siblings had, or a GameBoy Advance. Easiest decision in my life, it took me 0.1 second to answer.
I had a game boy color but left it in my locker. At the end of the school year, the janitor threw it away. It took it home.
The Nintendo knows what we like line is Gold 😆😆😆
i like tetris dx better the music is better the controls better the title is better
I guess you just had to be there… and be a Pokemon fan.
I got the Gameboy Color Pikachu edition back then, it included Pokemon Yellow. Had a lot of fun with it. Then got Pokemon Gold and Silver and then didn't feel like getting Pokemon Crystal.
The Gameboy Color was great for its day, there was a lot of great games, but the problem is that the GBA came later and it was way better… save the light problems.
It doesn't help that a lot of early Gameboy Color games were just Gameboy games… only in color.
Overall it was a great pocket videogame console, and sometimes I feel nostalgic about it and play some of the games again… in an emulator because the game batteries are dead so the games won't save anymore.
My game boy colour power slide doesn’t go all the way on is there anyway to fix this
❌
The Gameboy color is not an upgraded Gameboy. The Gameboy pocket WAS an upgraded Gameboy color. The difference between the Gameboy color and the Gameboy pocket is not the same as the difference between the Gameboy and the Gameboy color.
